Learn how to work with hair and create a range of hair styles to enable you to offer hair styling along with your current services.
Covers glamour hairstyling, product knowledge and long hair styles. The course caters to meet the student's needs and industry demands. This course is designed to complement makeup skills, enabling makeup artists to offer hair styling to their clients.
Learn how to handle all different hair types, and create a variety of hairstyles for short to long hair for every occassion.

Topic Areas Covered:
- Hair theory covering hair textures and types
- Tools and equipment (brushes, hot irons and tongs)
- Product knowledge
- The basic ponytail
- Quick hair up with ponytail and without ponytail
- Twists and coils
- Teasing
- Long hair techniques
- Creating cascading curls using hot rollers and or irons and tongs
- Bridal hair upstyles
- Braiding (fish plat, side part, round scalp)
- Blowdrying smooth and sleek
- Choosing correct brushes and product for doing so
- Using sections and straightening tongs
- Client consultations (how to consult for hair styles)
- Creating an upstyle (composition, design, choices based on consultation)
Course Requirements:
Students willl be required to organise models for selected classes. The teacher will advise students of dates in the first class.

Course Fees
$850.00. A $200.00 minimum non-refundable deposit is required to enrol and secure a position in the course. The balance of the course fees is due on the course commencement date. (A 4 week direct-debit payment plan with integraPAY is available, information will be sent to students with their confirmation of enrolment).
